FitHit for Beginners: Your First Week, Step by Step

Starting fitness is mostly logistics: which app, which plan, which day, what to do when you get there. This guide walks your first week with FitHit in order, so each step is done before the next one needs it.

Day 1: Apply and set up

FitHit opens through approval-based early access. Apply on the homepage; the live counter shows how many early-access spots remain. Approval keeps the early community genuine, and it is the only waiting you will do. Once approved, sign in and complete your profile. Your Fitness ID is created automatically: this is the portable identity your history will live on, across any gym or trainer you ever connect.

Day 1 or 2: Choose how you will train

Three doors, pick whichever fits your life right now. Connect your gym if yours is on FitHit. Invite your trainer by phone or email; they get access to your data only after you accept, and they build your plan for your slot, morning, day or evening. Or go solo and build your own quick workouts. All three can change later, and your history carries over either way.

Day 2 to 5: Log your first workouts

Fifteen minutes before your slot, a reminder lands. Tap Start Workout and the guided player walks you through the session: the exercise, your target, and fields to log sets, reps and weight as you finish them. A rest timer runs between sets, and if a session runs long you get a gentle nudge. Do not chase perfect sessions this week; chase logged ones. Four honest logged workouts beat one heroic one.

Same week: Start diet tracking

Log your daily intake, calories and macros, in the Diet tab. Keep it simple; the goal this week is the habit, not perfect numbers. By the weekend you will have something valuable: your training and eating on the same record.

Day 6 or 7: Look at your Progress

Open Progress and review the week: sessions logged, sets completed, intake tracked. It will look small. That is the point. Next week has something to beat, and every week after builds on a record that belongs to you. Your trainer, when you have one, sees the same truth and plans from it.

Week 2 onwards

Repeat, adjust, and let the record grow. Switch gyms, add a trainer, change cities: your Fitness ID keeps the whole story. Questions anytime: the /help page walks through every step, and the homepage FAQ covers the rest.
